Mass Shooting In Sutherland Springs, Texas

Thoughts and prayers go out to the families, friends, and loved ones of the twenty-six (26) Texans whose lives were violently taken, and the many wounded, in a tragic and senseless act that has altered the lives of a community and a nation.

On Sunday morning of November 5, 2017, a lone gunman who is now deceased, entered the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas with seemingly malicious intent to harm, and/or kill church goers while at their most vulnerable, communing in a place of worship. According to news reports from ABC News, the victims ranged in age from five (5) to seventy-two (72).

As fellow Americans, we are grieving with the families and the community of Sutherland Springs, Texas. Please know, you are not alone. Praying you find peace, and strength in your darkest hour.

Note: This post is for the victims of a tragic event. As such, the suspect’s name was intentionally omitted.
