BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

October is ‘Breast Cancer Awareness’ month, a great time to schedule a Mammogram screening and remind a friend, sister, niece, mother, and others that you care about to do the same. Don’t forget about the men in your life. Ensure they schedule an appointment for a breast cancer screening as well.

About 1 in 8 U.S. women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime, or approximately 12%. A little known fact, about 1 in 1,000 men are at risk of developing breast cancer in his lifetime.
