POWER OF WOMEN | SISTERHOOD SHARING SESSIONS | LIFE LESSONS LEARNED: GARDENING-HUMMINGBIRD AT MY WINDOW
I’ve Learned Garnishing Your Garden With Feeders Invites An Atmosphere For Nesting
Spring is in the air and I find myself reminiscing about a Hummingbird at my window one Spring. Gardening is much more than planting random trees and scrubs. Creating an oasis for nature can be very rewarding. In addition to picking the appropriate plants for your desired guests, I’ve learned garnishing your garden with feeders invites an atmosphere for nesting.
Why is a Hummingbird at my window, and what is the best way to entice desired birds to choose to feed in your backyard garden? For the handsome Hummingbird, it doesn’t take much, a bit of sugar in colored water and you have their attention. For the on-looker, it’s simply mesmerizing to see such a majestic creature as the Hummingbird hovering while feeding right in front of your eyes. Having an opportunity to notice nature up close and personal is one of the many perks of a patient Gardener.
